The board gathered for their annual meeting last week and came to a unanimous decision to vote Edward A. Lane IV the new President / CEO of Lane Homes & Remodeling, Inc.
Over the past few years, Edward has been leading the company into the future by adding critical members to the team while evaluating and improving current processes. Having learned the business via OJT from bottom to top, his understanding of the remodeling industry and the added benefits of new technology and social media combined with his people skills and his quiet, thoughtful demeanor make him a perfect fit to build on the Lane Homes & Remodeling reputation. Edward said, “I look forward to a new year and a new position. I love what we do, and I am excited about the future of the company.”
Lane Homes & Remodeling is a family-owned and operated design/build firm that has been serving customers in Richmond and the surrounding counties since 1984. The focus has been in the building and remodeling of kitchens, master suites, family rooms, attic and basement build-outs, baths, and outdoor living spaces, as well as whole house remodels. “We are known for our creative designs, quality craftsmanship and high level of service, with honesty and integrity as its foundation,” said Edward.
While Ed Lane III (70) will be stepping down as President, he will still remain on the Board and an active component in the company. Ed said, “I have been blessed with the opportunity to have worked with my son and to have been his mentor for many years. With his ability, energy and enthusiasm, Edward will be better than I ever was.”
