This 1940’s Cape Cod had a massive two-story addition, creating larger living spaces for the young family and updating their home with modern amenities.

These parents of two needed more space, a lot more space. With an increase of 2,375 square footage to the existing floor plan, this two-story remodel gave enough room for everything on the couple’s wishlist. The scope of the project includes the primary suite, laundry room, great room, powder room, wet bar, kitchen with walk-in pantry, mudroom, dining room, and an additional bedroom. An open floor plan throughout the space allows features like the exposed brick from existing exterior walls to shine through in the new kitchen. The interior’s soft color palette is grounded through medium toned hardwood floors, making each area of the space feel even larger. Close attention to detail was taken to preserve original 40s millwork and casing, blending modern amenities and aesthetic in classic roots.

A 1960s brick ranch in desperate need of an update. Years ago, the roof was taken off and a second story with Victorian details were added to the façade. With a heavy brick fireplace and knotty pine paneling, the house was dated and dark. Now it stands with an open floor plan incorporated with mid-century details that were popular at the time of construction.

Talk about a total overhaul! This house underwent a full renovation that opened up the first floor, modernized the kitchen & bathrooms, and created a new office space. The former living room space was being engulfed by a brick fireplace & huge staircase, making the majority of the room unusable. Removing the fireplace in conjunction with relocating the primary staircase did wonders for maximizing the available first floor. The newly acquired space was then transformed with the inclusion of a custom dry bar with integrated marble & aluminum mosaic backsplash. Keeping true to the original time period of the home, complementary materials were selected to fill the space such as the soapstone countertops and red oak cabinetry. The newly modernized space is now complete with several inviting zones for entertaining friends and family and takes advantage of views of the gorgeous landscape behind the property.

A modern farmhouse style first floor remodel that accommodates a multigenerational family. The central load bearing wall was removed and replaced with 45 feet of steel beams. The kitchen is now double in size and feels fresh and updated.

The word of the day with this first floor remodel was storage! With three families living under one roof, the residents were feeling cramped and in need of a change. The project we designed for them knocks down walls to maximize an open floor plan, doubles available appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, sinks, countertops), and brightens the space with updates to cabinetry and flooring. Major consideration was taken in the replacement of a central, load-bearing wall with 45 ft. of steel beams to provide adequate structural support. A unique piece of this transformation revolves around an existing butcher block, a family heirloom incorporated into the new island countertops.

Existing deck, original to the house, was majorly in need of an upgrade. A multi-tiered deck complete with an upper level screen porch and 500lb bluestone stepper walkway stands in its place, a perfect outdoor space for the growing family.

This active family wanted an outdoor space that was suitable for entertaining guests as well as a play zone for the young boys. To do this, the entire existing structure was removed and replaced with a double-decker screened in porch, complete with cool-touch technology decking, powder-coated steel support posts, and no-spline screen system. A highlight of this project comes in its walkway, created from 500lb bluestone steppers expertly recessed into the earth, creating a safe, gradual step down a severely sloped backyard lot.

Catering to clients who are super design savvy and entertain regularly, the goal was to create a wet bar that would wow a crowd and function perfectly for parties.

A striking centerpiece for this home. Nestled in between the kitchen and dining room, this wet bar invites guests to marvel at its maximalistic approach to life. Drab, granite countertops were replaced with Rainbow Fusion Quartzite. The Silveron cabinets are inset with exposed hinges, preserving the period specific aesthetic of the 100+ year old home. The cabinets themselves were handmade, primed, and painted using Fine Paints of Europe’s Oxblood Red. The upper cabinets were equipped with antique mirrors from Georgia, creating a peek-a-boo effect.

A cramped, dated kitchen was transformed into an open and airy space that works much better for the active, young family living in the home. A wall separating the kitchen and family room along with a poorly designed walk-in pantry were removed, allowing us to expand the kitchen’s footprint and creating a better flow for everyday living and entertaining.

Experience the rush of the great outdoors without ever leaving your kitchen! This mountain modern aesthetic kitchen came about through knocking down a wall between the former kitchen and dining room to create a seamless transition from the two spaces. Taking advantage of the natural light was a must for this couple, along with increased storage, counterspace, and energy efficient appliances. New hardwood floors run beautifully across the symmetrical design, framing the focal point of the incredible live-edge Maple slab table, easily maneuvered under the island for transitional seating needs. A unique feature of this home is found in its built-in wireless charging station, accommodating all the devices needs of the family of four.

This modern farmhouse kitchen remodel involved a transformative renovation of an existing kitchen space, with a primary focus on expanding the footprint by moving a wall between the kitchen and dining room. The aim was to create a more spacious and functional kitchen as well as a gathering space for the whole family.

A spacious, functional kitchen with room for the whole family to gather together; that was the plan with this modern farmhouse design. What came about was an improved U-shaped layout to enhance workflow, varied counter heights for increased accessibility, ample storage, lighting improvements, and a dedicated dog-bowl station to keep pet items tidy and tucked away. Featured in the center of the space is a massive 12 foot island, created by combining a full quartz slab with a custom butcher block island end-cap. This project not only created a better kitchen space, but maximizes the natural light of the windows overlooking the backyard of the home.

A quaint kitchen that reflects the homeowner’s whimsical and eclectic style. Well-thought-out storage makes perfect use of a smaller space, in addition to the personality and color that envelops the atmosphere.

Not your typical cookie-cutter kitchen, this homeowner wanted a space that felt unique to them and their own personal style. Decked out in honey bronze fixtures, a retro refrigerator, and 9×9 encaustic pink tile backsplash, this colorful kitchen was curated to stand alongside other curated cozy rooms of the house. An exposed brick wall painted white provides a nod to the space’s former exterior existence as a screen porch. A unique feature of this design is found in the adjoining reading nook with built in bookcases and daybed, perfect for unwinding accompanied by your favorite book.
