Sarah Pierce, designer and draftsperson with Lane Homes & Remodeling, was honored as Pro Remodeler’s 40 Under 40. This award acknowledges up-and-coming professionals across the US who are shaping the future of the remodeling industry. Sarah shared with Pro Remodeler how she prioritizes strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Tackling that and still coming out with a good relationship with the tile manufacturer, the store, and the client is definitely something I’m proud of. In my current job, I work on drawing and estimating, so I communicate more with industry professionals. I make sure my communication is the best it can be between industry pros and our company while checking that the client understands as well.

Sarah’s 40 Under 40 achievement comes on the heels of her recognition as one of NKBA’s 30 Under 30 Class of 2020. She has recently completed her CKBD with NKBA. As a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer with the NKBA, Sarah has a strong understanding of design and residential construction.
Sarah has been on the Lane Homes Design team since 2018. She was co-designer of the NARI Central Virginia Contractor of the Year Grand Prize Residential Interior Remodel and the designer of the NARI Central Virginia CotY Runner Up Residential Bathroom over $50,000. She is designing seven residential remodeling projects that are set to start construction this year.
