Kitchen and Bath Industry Show 2024

Lane Homes design team at the 2024 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 60th anniversary event in Las Vegas.

In February, Lane Homes & Remodeling attended the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, hosted by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). The event spanned three days and brought together design professionals and innovators from around the world to share trends, technology, and stunning displays.

Our design consultants walked away with fresh inspiration, creative ideas, and a renewed excitement for what’s possible in kitchen and bath design. Here’s what stood out most:

Color

Alex Muller

“The best color is the one that looks good on you.”

Bright, bold colors made a major impact. From deep reds to vibrant greens, individual hues were used to make strong focal points within displays—each space telling a unique story. Homeowners increasingly want personalized spaces that reflect who they are, not just current trends.

Kitchen Work Stations

Work stations are the new must-have feature in modern kitchens. From slidable cutting boards and rollable drying racks to prepping containers and cocktail accessories, functionality is key. Whether you’re a foodie or love entertaining, these built-in features make multitasking in the kitchen easier and more enjoyable.

Smart Tech

Appliance innovation is heating up—especially when it comes to refrigerators. One exciting example: SlimTech Insulation, which removes bulky foam in favor of slim, efficient insulation. The result? Up to 25% more internal storage with the same exterior footprint. Big capacity, small space.

Eco-Wellness

Bathroom design is embracing wellness and sustainability. Many displays featured natural elements like plants and essential oils. Aromatherapy shower heads offered scents like tea tree, mint, and eucalyptus. Brands also emphasized water conservation and environmental responsibility—especially with ocean-focused messaging.
